it can be tough and stressfull at times but more ties than not it is easy, smooth sailing to work here. Most demanding part of my job is knowing how to use the phone, and speak english. commission is very good and all of the top producers make a very good paycheck. it is also easy to get buried in the paper side of the job and get stuck in all the buerocracity of management and their issues but i just try to stay focused of the main goal of making a good commission and we do just fine

As most people desire, this company gives the ability and tools to become successful and take home a healthy income. I’m not sure which I love more, the generous commission, personable and positive employee roster, or the growth opportunities. Only the true hard workers can make it here; you get back what you definitely put in.

Pros
A truly rewarding career that makes a positive impact in the lives of others, an amazing staff, tremendous support, an incredible value system, great benefits.

Cons
It can be tough at first if you are new to the industry.

Great benefits, hands on training, very competitive pay rates and the people are just great! The corporate culture is relaxed while there is a major feeling of being a part of a team. The company mission statement is clear and it seems that all employees really are there to help people find jobs in their own way. Expectations and goals are high but the support is present to help all employees achieve set goals. Management wants to help their teams succeed. Casual friday plus Pizza day every tuesday makes the week go quickly.

i have been working here in my position for over two years now and have gotten very comfortable in my role here at buffett senior health. mostly most of what i do involves making calls to potential customers and-or attending meetings with said customers. every day can be a little receptive with a lot of focus of smaller details but when you get paid it can all be worthwhile for the long run. i plan on staying around here for the foreshadowing further.

Pros
working hard and earning a paycheck feels good

Cons
mico-management and red tape type paperwork can keep you tied up

Finished school almost a year ago and began almost immediately in my position here. The first month or so is mostly training and then they turn you loose to meet your requirements. It can be stressful and demanding at times, but all-in-all is a very rewarding atmosphere to be a part of. I just left the company to pursue my dream of higher education but my time there was very beneficial in terms of financial gain and also professional experience.

Everybody I have encountered working with Buffett Senior has been very courteous and dedicated to professionalism. Training is very extensive and can be challenging but you will learn a lot of important sides of the industry to help you make the most out of your employment at BSH. If you can meet all of the requirements, you can make good money and be comfortable with knowing you are providing an important service to people who are benefitting from it.

There is a lot of driving, calling and just generally digging through papers and red tape involved, but if you can handle that and stick around for a while, you can really begin to make some decent sized commissions once you get the hang of everything. If you don’t have experience in sales or just don’t know how to talk to people, this might not be the best place to start.

Pros
Great leaders

Cons
Telephones, Paperwork, etc

Upper management takes an interest in all levels of employees and they seem to care about morale, which I find to be rare in large companies. Middle management sometimes gets lost in the political maneuvering that goes on at their level, which can be a detriment to the employees. The supervisors all seem to be solid people however, and the company prefers to promote from within; this is a big bonus in my book! Advancement is limited only by your skill and willingness to work. Pay isn’t the best at the starting levels but does get better by a good bit as you move up.

A good place to work whether you are moving up or just looking to start somewhere. Training sometimes takes a while and travel for meetings can be tricky, but once you get in a rhythm and get used to it the job is a breeze. Pay structure is fair but performance based, so it is important make your time here count.

Working at Buffett Senior was tough and demanding sometimes but was always a very rewarding experience. You have to push yourself to be at the top of your game constantly but if you can handle that, no sweat. Generous commission structures make up for the long hours. This job is definitely what you make it. Its not always pretty, and sometimes can be downright boring. As long as you know who you are and what you are there to do, you can be happy here and make your time here a decent stepping stone for your professional career.

The job description was not exactly the most exciting to think about when I got started years ago, but those years have gone by in a flash thanks to the success driven and inspiring environment in the office and the can-do attitude of my co workers. Like I said, everything seems to go in its right place and the company moves along like a well taken care of machine- a real classic. Working on mostly commissions can be a drag sometimes but also very rewarding others. If you already have experience in sales or other high pressure situations, then a position here will probably be a good fit for you. If you don’t have the experience you can probably substitute confidence but if you have neither then don’t waste your time just to become one of those complainers who doesn’t understand the concept of a commission based salary. It doesn’t matter hw many hours you are putting in the bottom line is that you have to perform at a certain standard or you will get left behind.

I began an internship with Buffett Senior Healthcare in my senior year of college. It is a commission based job that involves a lot of time on the phones and travel, up to several hours per day. There is a chance to make money in this profession but you have to be willing to be poor for the first few months. It takes time to build up your clientele. This is a position that takes a lot of your time starting out and requires that you have thick skin because you are dealing with the public.

This is a tough job, especially initially, just like they said it would be. I am just so glad that I stuck it out. The first 2-3 months were the hardest, while I was learning, going through all of the continuing training, and building up my renewal income (man does that get better quickly).

Once I got the hang of things, moved into training, and received my 90 day bonus, I was off and I have not looked back.

If interested in a position, please review the website fully and make sure you can handle some initial travel, long initial hours, really just everything outlined on the website. It is all very clear and accurate.

Pros
Great Opportunity, for those who are driven to succeed

Cons
Longer initial hours, some travel, it takes a little time to really start earning great money

I was a little skeptical at first when i took this job, but mostly because I wasn’t sure if I had the skills to be a decent sales agent. In my time I’ve seen a lot of people come and go but its not as hard as people make it seem. Most of the ones that go don’t even make it a month so that probably had more to do with them than us. You just need to be able to make a connection with people (and of course, make the sale)

Its a lot of work, but if you can be on point successful the pay is great. I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people who don’t make it in sales either way (only about 1 of 3 new hires is successful in this business) but you just need to stick with it. Also there have been a lot of changes in management in the art year and that is a good thing. This can be a lucrative job if you just meet your goals.

In the 4 months I have been here, after my base pay period (first 4 weeks) in commissions alone along w. my monthly 1st year renewals and expense pay plus bonuses I have been earning exactly an average of $2,120.34 per week. This is more than I have ever made and more than I expected. Buffett Senior Healthcare (or BSH) has been a blessing like no other. First month I admit, was difficult, but by sticking with it leaning on all their tremendous support, preset appointments and internet leads, superior products, and continual coaching I am doing awesome. Those in my initial starting training class, 3 of the 10 failed and quit before even giving it a chance. Those are the folks who simply don’t stick with what they started and blame the company. I feel bad for them. Like their website CONTINUALLY says everywhere, “Buffett Senior Healthcare is only for the right person”. No kidding. But if you are a person who doesn’t quit and give up in the face of a challenge, then you will soar like me and the other 6 guys and gals in my class. I can’t wait to get to management!
